After consulting some wiring diagrams I cant make sense of the way this circuit is wired nor why it is not working. I have a light fixture on a three-way switch.
Unfortunately that doesnt look like the case.

Why does my 3 way switch only work one way. I have tried every possible combination on my own but still cant get it to work. One three way switch. Wired up a 3 way switch.
I have a 3 way switch. Switch a works regardless of position of switch b. 3 way switch only works when other one is on.
One of the switches only works when the other switch is in the on position. My problem is that Switch 1 only works when Switch 2 is in the B position and Switch 2 only works when Switch 1 is in the A position. Now the switch works only when one of the switches is on the OFF position but not when its on ON position.
One of the switches only works when the other switch is in the on position. Switch b only works when the light was first turned on by switch a.
